At Bladed, we want to ensure our patients have all of the information necessary in order to prepare for their appointment and to be able to heal from their treatments properly. Please review the resources placed below that our team has put together to help you get all of the answers you need to have a great experience with us.
**You must be 18 years of age or have a parent present for consent before any tattoo procedure, including Microblading or SMP.
There is a healing process that lasts an average of 10 days. Please plan accordingly around any planned events or vacations. You can learn what to expect regarding the healing process by clicking here.
When you arrive for your appointment, we review your paperwork together to ensure that all proper forms are signed, and there are no contra-indications that would hinder good results.
We discuss in detail the results you are looking for - having pictures of what you like will help in that process, but it's not required.
You are numbed before we begin the eyebrow or SMP mapping process, and once you approve the shape/size/design, we begin the procedure.
After the first pass, you are numbed again to ensure the most comfortable experience possible.
After the appointment is complete, we check out and schedule your 8 week touchup for brows, or 2 week session for SMP!
It is incredibly important to read pre-care instructions as soon as you book your appointment, as they include information detrimental to the day of your procedure. If you arrive and have not followed pre-care instructions, you may be asked to reschedule. Please click here to see if you are a candidate for microblading and SMP before booking an appointment.
Due to state requirements of a sterile, secure environment, NO CHILDREN OR PETS are allowed in the salon during the procedure. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule and risk forfeiting your original deposit. If you arrive with a sunburn, or have not followed other pre-care instructions, you will be asked to reschedule and risk losing your original deposit.
Touch-up is scheduled for 8-12 weeks after initial appointment, at completion of first appointment. If touch-up is canceled or rescheduled for outside that timeframe, there is no guarantee you will receive the touch up for free.
Results vary from person to person and cannot be guaranteed. It is the client's responsibility to follow proper post care to ensure they get the best results possible.
If you have had previous microblading or permanent cosmetics, please send photos of your brows with no makeup to bladedbrows317@gmail.com before booking and appointment. It is important to check that the old shape and pigment can be properly covered with a new procedure without needing any tattoo removal.
All deposits and transactions are non-refundable.
The healing process, on average, lasts 2-3 weeks, but varies person to person as everyone's skin is different.
Immediately after the procedure, once numbing cream has worn off, brows will have a feeling similar to a sunburn.
Brows will get increasingly dark over the next several days, and pigment will start to lift off edges and become tight and itchy. It is incredibly important NOT TO PICK as it will pull pigment out with the scab. Once all scabs are off, brows go through a light phase where they appear very light and in some cases with lighter pigment (such as blonde) may appear invisible. This is normal, and pigment will darken back up over the next couple weeks. Pigment will be lighter than the first day of procedure, but darker than the light phase. Seeing how much each individual fades after the first appointment is important, so we can determine if we need to go darker to achieve desired HEALED results.
The healing process, on average, lasts 4-10 days, and each following session is booked for 10-14 days after.
Immediately after the procedure, the scalp may be red and irritated, but should calm down within a day.
Please keep in mind you will not see the results you want after the first session!! The first session is the least noticeable, immediate difference as we are spacing dots out farther so we can assess how you healed after the first session and decide if we need to adjust the color or needle depth.
Better to be subtle with the first session so we can decide if we need to go darker and deeper, instead of ending up with large, blurry dots that are too dark or too close together!
