Contact UsWhat Is Microblading?
For those who have sparse or thin eyebrows, microblading at Bladed Inc. in Zionsville, IN is a cosmetic tattooing technique that can give you the appearance of fuller eyebrows. This newer treatment is performed with semi-permanent ink that fills your eyebrows with strokes that resemble hair. Along with microblading, owner and master artist Britt Baker offers other semi-permanent brow services, like powder brows and combo brows. Powder brows are a shading technique that provides a softer makeup look while combo brows are recommended if you fill your brows daily. To refresh the color or shape of your brows, which is usually done 1 – 3 years after a microblading procedure, you can also receive a color boost. - Saves you time and effort

- Boosts your "I woke up like this" confidence
Am I A Candidate For Microblading?
A microblading treatment is a good choice for men and women in the Zionsville, IN area who would like a more defined or fuller shape for their eyebrows that can last a long time while also looking natural. Most clients at Bladed Inc. who opt for microblading services usually have slender eyebrows that need to appear fuller or have specific areas that they wish to fill in. Thin eyebrows or bald spots may be caused by genetics, surgical scars, traumatic injury, overplucking, nutritional deficiencies, and aging. Unlike tattooed eyebrows, microblading creates a more natural-looking result, providing full coverage or filling in certain areas of the brows. Microblading may also help add a slight curve to the brow for a better shape. The best candidates for microblading are in good general health, are not pregnant, and don't have severe diabetes (high blood sugar levels can compromise the healing process).
How Does Microblading Work?
Before your microblading procedure starts, you will have a thorough consultation to look over your brows and discuss your cosmetic goals so that a personalized treatment plan can be created for you. To begin your microblading procedure, Britt will use two different numbing creams to help keep you comfortable. She will then use the highest quality ink products and a handheld tool with tiny needles to give you thin, natural-looking strokes that look like individual hairs for great results. A touch-up will be scheduled within 8 – 12 weeks after your first microblading session and is included in the price.
A $100 non-refundable deposit will be required to book a brow service, which will go toward the entire cost due after the service is performed. Pricing for each procedure is listed below:
- Microblading: $700
- Combo Brow: $750
- Microblading Color Boost: $350
- Combo Brow Color Boost: $400

What Can I Expect After?
Immediately after your microblading session, you will be able to leave our office and continue normal activities without any downtime required. You may have mild redness around the treated areas but this usually goes away in a few hours. Your eyebrows will appear darker right after microblading, but they will fade to your desired color in around two weeks. Britt suggests that you schedule a follow-up session around one month after your initial treatment to touch up and finalize your brows. The results of microblading usually last about 1 – 2 years; however, treatments may be repeated to maintain the appearance of your brows.

About UsMicroblading FAQs
Does microblading hurt?
Do microblading results look natural?
How long do the results of microblading last?
Is microblading the same as an eyebrow tattoo?
While both methods involve implanting pigment into the skin, microblading and traditional eyebrow tattooing are different. Microblading uses a manual blade and creates hair-like strokes for a more natural look, whereas eyebrow tattooing uses a machine and often results in a solid, block-like eyebrow.
What happens during the touch-up appointment?
The touch-up appointment, usually scheduled 8 – 12 weeks after your initial procedure, allows Britt to fill in any areas where the pigment may not have held, and make any adjustments to shape or color as needed.
How should I prepare for my microblading appointment?
Before your appointment, avoid consuming alcohol, caffeine, or blood thinners as these may affect the healing process. It's also recommended to avoid sun tanning, chemical peels, and other facial treatments at this time.
